Ford sourced 2.6 litre Straight 6 engine as fitted to the early Coupes and Sabre6s. This picture shows the triple SU carburettor version.

Ford powered 3 Litre “Essex” V6 engine as fitted to SE4a and SE4b Coupe’s.

A 2.5 Litre version was fitted to the SE4c , and shared many components.Many SE4c vehicles have however been changed to the 3 Litre specification engine.

Elsewhere on this site you will find the last SE4c to be made which still retains its original engine.
